Situated on the A6 mid-way between Bedford and Kettering, Rushden is the fifth largest town in East Northamptonshire.

When the adjoining town of Higham Ferrers is included, the population is estimated at around 36,000. From its farming and 19th Century industrial roots, today’s Rushden is benefiting from a local regeneration project that is focussing on the town’s High Street alongside many new investment initiatives highlighted by the national ‘North Londonshire’ awareness generating campaign. Plans are in place for a £40m retail and leisure facility that will include shops, hotels a leisure centre and marina on the River Nene.

Recognising that such a large residential area had relatively little representation from quality Estate Agents, in early 2010 Andrew Simpson teamed up with local property expert Mark Weekley to open Simpson & Weekley. Every day is different, never boring and full of challenges, I am lucky enough to have a fantastic team that work tirelessly. I have lived in the town all my life, am married, we have a beautiful daughter, I play football for Rushden & Higham FC and am a leader at the Wesleyan Church.
